Although there is no actual word limit on nominations for the MCV/DEVELOP Awards, submissions should aspire to be concisely written and well thought out. We would suggest that they are no longer than a couple of paragraphs, while still covering the subject of the nomination and why they are being nominated adequately. It is also a good idea to include links and references where appropriate, for the best chances of your nomination getting on to the shortlist. 

MCV/DEVELOP will be accepting nominations for the awards until midnight on March 11, 2024. 

To be eligible, nominee games must have been fully or partially produced by a UK-based studio or team and subsequently fully launched (i.e. not into early access) during the 2023 calendar year. 

To be eligible, the efforts and accomplishments of nominee UK-based individuals or organisations should be fully or partially attributed to the 2023 calendar year.

To ensure your nomination is considered, please include “MCV/DEVELOP AWARDS 2024” in the subject heading, followed by the category name. For example: “MCV/DEVELOP AWARDS 2024 Media Brand of the Year”. 

Please limit nominations to one per category per email. 

There is no limit on the number of nominations per sender, but please nominate responsibly.
